Casa Vieja Brewery is committed to making small batches of quality, craft beer. We have a 4 bbl system at our Corrales location and make hefeweizen, red ale, brown ale, sours, lager, IPA and stouts on site. Our drink menu offerings change seasonally and are based on availability. We are a NM Licensed small brewer. We donate all of the spent grain from the brewing process to farms in Corrales as part of our continued effort to support local biz and help protect the environment.
Meet our Head Brewer, Michael Sharpe
Born in the beautiful horse country of Ocala, Florida I spent my youth in the rolling hills and swamps of North-Central Florida. Having a family with a love for beer and having been introduced to the joy of cooking at a very early age the marriage of those two pastimes paved the way for a career-defining passion for the construction and execution of beer recipes
My favorite style of beer is the English Old Ale. It's a style that spans centuries with a mind towards future potential. That's where progress lays; in the plans laid for the next generation. That's where I like to keep myself and Casa Vieja allows me to make it a reality.
